Kirsty Armstrong is a professional sculptor who donates a percentage of her profits from every squirrel sculpture sale to Red Squirrel conservation projects throughout the UK. So far, she has given£1500 which has gone to RSST (towards Squirrel pox virus research), RSTW (for Adenovirus research) and to B&DRSG (towards the purchase of a FLIR thermal imaging camera), and the total increases with every sale.

Kirsty’s first squirrel ‘Charles’ (No.1 of which is owned by HRH Prince Charles), is now completely sold out, however, there are still a number of the limited editions of ‘Willow’, ‘George’ and ‘Hope’ still available. Both ‘Willow’ and ‘George’ are in cold-cast copper or hand painted resin, while ‘Hope’ is only a painted version. Orders are also now being taken for ‘Rowan’, which Kirsty is presently sculpting (Spring 2015).
